PowerCab is an electric cryotherapy chamber for short sessions in dry cold. Cryotherapy is used within recovery and wellness offerings, for example after exercise or as an invigorating cold exposure experience. Individual experiences vary.
PowerCab is water-cooled and needs a cooling-water supply. STORM is air-cooled and needs no separate water chiller, but its exhaust air must be routed outside the building. Both use three-phase electric power without nitrogen. The choice depends on the desired cooling experience and installation requirements.
PowerCab has a cooling level down to −120 °C. Evaporator temperature reaches down to −110 °C. The values describe different parts of the cooling system. Settings, airflow and operating conditions affect the session.
Sessions are short and adapted to the customer and your operating procedures. Introductions, preparation and changeovers are part of the booking time. Time inside the chamber differs from the interval between session starts.
Nominal electrical power during operation is 7.00 kW. During cool-down it is 9.00 kW. As a calculation example, 7.00 kW over one hour equals 7.00 kWh. Any additional cooling-water plant and room climate control must be included when assessing total installation energy use.
Plan for 400 V three-phase power, two electrical connections and cooling water at a nominal flow of 38 l/min with an inlet temperature no higher than 6 °C. Room conditions are 15–23 °C and no more than 35% relative humidity. Minimum room volume is 25 m³. Delivery access, door opening and servicing access are reviewed before delivery.
Automatic programmes and iPad controls simplify operation. During setup, we review customer introductions, supervision and procedures for stopping a session. The approach is adapted to how your business will use the equipment.

Yes. Cleaning and user checks are part of everyday operation. During installation, we review the servicing plan and procedures for drying and restarting. Automatic drying and remote support do not replace routine care.
