In the heart of Stockholm, on the 8th floor of Clarion Hotel Sign, lies Selma City Spa – a place where hotel guests and Stockholmers meet for relaxation with city views. This is where we took our first joint step with Sign, and where our collaboration has continued to grow ever since.

As one of Stockholm's largest hotels, catering to both overnight guests and local spa visitors, Selma City Spa had high demands: treatments needed to maintain the same premium feel as the rest of the hotel, be scientifically based, and provide measurable value for both guests and staff. The team at Sign sought a partner who could deliver top-class equipment – and who understood what it takes for an investment to become part of the hotel's identity, not just an addition to the spa menu.

Zerobody Dry Floating and Red Light Pod

In the summer of 2022, Lyfe Nordic delivered Sweden's first Zerobody Dry Float to Selma City Spa, along with our Red Light Pod, Sweden's best-selling red light bed. The two technologies were placed in adjoining treatment rooms and were conceived from the start as a combined recovery concept rather than two separate treatments.

Dry Floating allows guests to rest fully supported in body-temperature water without getting wet – a deep relaxation for both body and mind that can contribute to reduced symptoms of stress, anxiety, and low mood, milder muscle and joint pain, faster recovery, and better sleep. The red light therapy in the Red Light Pod complements the experience by supporting the body's own recovery processes at a cellular level.

Guests' most popular choice has become precisely this combination: dry floating and red light therapy in the same visit, often paired with a massage. It's a holistic experience that addresses both relaxation and physical recovery in a single spa visit.
